Mystique Inspirational Look Ver.1 (Poll #1 Reader Choice)

So here’s the look from poll #1 you all wanted to see most! I wasn’t entirely happy with how it came out, and so that being said, I will plan on doing a second version of this later on. (As I was applying the shadow I decided I wanted to do something else, but it was too late at that point lol) Anyway, I hope you do like this first version! Again, I base my looks off of character’s costume, skin, and power colors.

This is me trying to look sly like Ms. Raven Darkholme (Mystique) 😛

I used red lips to represent Mystique's awesome red hair!

  1. Looks great! Do you have any tricks for getting inner corner shadow to stay put? I haven’t ever been able to pull off a look with the eye completely surrounded by shadow like this, even with all sorts of primers and techniques.

    1. Thank you!

      Well there’s two things:
      1. Before I discovered the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as an eyeshadow base, I used Urban Decay Primer potion and the shadow always stayed pretty well.
      2. I discovered NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk lol. It’s stark white and the eyeshadow you put on top of it really holds. It also makes the colors very vibrant like they are in the pot.

For both methods use a pencil brush to apply into the corners. It will make your life much easier 🙂

    1. Okay I checked!! It’s an error with Google Chrome. I tried it in Firefox and everything was just perfect! Try using Firefox! (I love Google Chrome, but some sites/things really need to become compatible with it already!)
